Singer Sujin overcame the risk of school violence and recorded record album sales in her solo debut.
According to Hanteo Chart, her album sales statistics site, on the 13th (Korean time), sales of Sujin's first solo EP 'The Handmaiden' physical album exceeded 100,000 copies.
Immediately after the release of the album, the new album's title song 'The Handmaiden' not only topped the music video world-wide trending chart, but also topped the iTunes charts in 9 countries, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
Sujin is planning active domestic and international fan meetings in Oceania, Asia, and the Americas next year, including holding a Japanese fan meeting to commemorate the release of her first solo EP 'The Handmaiden' on the 13th and today (14th).
Sujin left her group (G)I-DLE after being embroiled in allegations of school violence, and she later debuted as a solo artist.
