The movie ‘30 Days’ beat ‘Dr. Chun’ the day before its release and ranked first in advance sales

The comedy film '30 Days', which was released in theaters on the 3rd, the last day of the Chuseok holiday and National Foundation Day, ranked first in advance reservation rates a day before its release.

According to the integrated movie theater ticket network on the 2nd, '30 Days' is recording a reservation rate of 23.0% (about 62,000 people with reservations) as of 4 PM on this day.

'30 Days' beat the fantasy film 'Dr. Chun's Exorcism Lab: Secrets of the Snowy Scene' (hereinafter 'Dr. Chun'), starring Kang Dong-won, which was recently showing strong performance in theaters, and rose to the top of the advance reservation rankings.

'Dr. Chun' is the first of the three Korean movies released for the Chuseok holiday to surpass 1 million viewers, continuing its run at the box office.

'Dr. Chun', which was released on the 27th of last month, attracted 229,000 people (46.8% of sales share) the previous day and remained at the top of the box office for 5 consecutive days. The cumulative number of viewers is about 1.17 million.

The reservation rate for 'Dr. Chun' is 18.9% (about 51,000 people), which is not much different from '30 Days', so competition is expected.

'30 Days', directed by director Nam Dae-jung, is a romantic comedy film depicting the story of a young couple about to divorce who simultaneously loses their memories in a car accident. Actors Kang Ha-neul and Jung So-min played the lead roles.
