There have been reports that Blackpink Jennie and Jisoo, whose exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment have ended, will establish a one-person agency.
On the 25th, a media outlet reported that Blackpink members Jennie and Jisoo are planning to establish a one-person agency and are discussing Blackpink group activities with YG Entertainment.
Previously, Blackpink debuted in 2016 through YG Entertainment, and all four members have become global stars. It was reported that the exclusive contract expired last August, but it was not disclosed whether the Blackpink members' contracts would be renewed.
Regarding whether Jennie and Jisoo will establish a one-person agency, YG Entertainment is refraining from commenting, saying, "Nothing has been confirmed and we are discussing it."
Blackpink mobilized over 1.8 million audiences through their world tour ‘BORN PINK’ for about a year starting in October last year.
